Moonlight & Melodies: A Charity Concert for Klong Lad Krabang School
We are delighted to announce that the Board of the Rotary Club of Bangkok has approved a new Community Service Project to support Klong Lad Krabang School, helping create a safer, healthier and more supportive learning environment for more than 200 children.
What does the school need?
The school has identified approximately ฿500,000 of urgent improvements, including:
- Renovation of deteriorated classrooms to provide safer and cleaner learning spaces
- Upgrading restroom facilities to improve hygiene, safety and daily wellbeing
- Construction of a covered 4.5m x 4.5m storage room to protect food, supplies and learning materials from rain
- Conversion of an existing storage room into a basic medical room for kindergarten students
The school was selected following an assessment of more than 30 schools by our project partners, including a site visit to verify its needs firsthand. The renovation is expected to begin in November 2026 and take approximately three months.
How will we raise the funds?
We are partnering with the Bangkok Charity Orchestra (BCO), founded and conducted by our own Rotarian Tan Lochotinan, to raise the funds through a special charity concert.
