Khun Khwankhao "Kimmim" Sinhaseni
Khwankhao "Kimmim" Sinhaseni is a Thai conservation professional with a background in forest ecology. She earned both her BSc and MSc in Ecology from Chiang Mai University and is currently pursuing a PhD at Griffith University, Australia, researching ecosystem services in tropical fruit farming systems.
She has extensive experience as a field researcher, project coordinator, and conservation manager. She currently serves as Executive Director of the Bird Conservation Society of Thailand, where she leads conservation initiatives for endangered species including the Spoon-billed Sandpiper and Helmeted Hornbill.
During this presentation, Khwankhao will introduce the work of the Bring the Elephant Home Foundation, discussing elephant conservation, habitat protection, and community-based initiatives that help ensure a sustainable future for Thailand's elephants.
