Join Rotary Club of Bangkok for a hands-on environmental clean-up on stand-up paddle boards at SUP Station Thailand. Help remove waste from the Chao Phraya River and support youth environmental awareness initiatives.

Overview

Most ocean plastic pollution originates from waste carried by rivers. The Chao Phraya River is one of Thailand’s main waterways contributing to marine debris.

This hands-on clean-up initiative invites Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors and friends to participate in a paddle-based waste collection effort at SUP Station Thailand.

Participants will use stand-up paddle boards to collect floating debris and river waste. The project aims to:

  • Remove significant quantities of river waste

  • Increase environmental awareness

  • Engage youth in practical environmental stewardship

  • Promote Rotary’s commitment to sustainability
